Treat is an online retail platform for pet supplies with an important mission: To send 1,000,000 meals to shelter pets by the end of 2021. Treat has recently launched its beta version, which means you can be one of the first to join this movement. Treat is a member of Google for Startups Founders Club.

Treat was founded by pet lovers for pet lovers, and its long-term goal is to decrease the number of shelter-animal euthanization—every year in the US, more than 1,000,000 shelter animals are euthanized.

Currently, two pilot programs are being held in Houston and North Georgia, and soon more shelters and animals will be available on the platform.

Treat creates a closer bond between people and shelter animals, by creating a direct impact on the animal in an affordable way. 

For as low as $1.00 you can purchase a weekly food bag for a shelter animal that will be delivered to its shelter and given to them. Once your shelter animal gets adopted, you'll be notified by email, and will receive a new animal to help!
